So I think the reason my car is running like crap and that I have no partial throttle is because of vacuum leak. At idle im only get 15 when I know its suppose to be around 20. I did a leak test on my piping and I dont have any leaks. Where else could it be coming from?? Im completely stumped.

15vac isnt bad. I and wouldnt really cause your car to run like crap. Ive seen sr's with leaks so bad they were getting 4 or less on vac but only became an issue during boost.

The best way to do a boost leak is to know a shop that has a smoke machine.

how do you know its comming from the intercooler?

A leak in the intercooler wouldn't have anything to do with a low vac number. You're looking for a hose or something on the manifold. Best way is probably to take a compressor to the brake vac line or something and pressurize it, and hope for a hissing noise.

EDIT: poor vacuum can also be a symptom of a engine that isn't running well, as well as a cause.

Well I know its leaking from the intercooler because when I sprayed soapy water on it, it started bumbling.

Ill try hooking up the air pump to the brake line and see what happens. But that wont hurt anything pumping air into the intake manifold right?

Also what else would cause the engine to have not partial throttle and buck around when you try too hold the gas steady? But revs perfectly over 3k?
