MYSTERIOUS TOOL IN EVERY G TRUNK

I have a 2003 infiniti G 35 Coupe. Does anyone know what the tool inside your trunk does? Ever wounder cuz I can't figure it out! Look where the spare jack is located inside the trunk and the tool looks like this. Its a gold wrench on one end and then half way down it morphes into a rod. Stamped on this durranged looking tool it has the "10" stamped on it. Any ideas what this tool is used for???? Sedans may have this tool but im not sure. Probably the wrench for the tow hook...owner's manual will tell you.

Ahhhh, I didn't see anything in the manual or a sticker in the trunk but that makes sense.
