I have a very odd issue with the clutch on my 240sx. If I start the car and put it in neutral (letting off the clutch pedal entirely) then step on the clutch again to put it into 1st or reverse (or any gear for that matter) it will not go. The transmission does not stop spinning.
Now if I start the car up in a gear with the clutch down it operates fine until I let off of the pedal all the way then it get stuck again (the clutch not the pedal) and I can not shift again.
I have a feeling that my pressure plate or clutch disk is getting stuck. Has anyone else heard of this happening. If so is there anyway to fix it other than replacement? The disk itself has plenty of meat on it.
Just to note:-The hydrolics are working fine, I checked them out the fork moves the entire distance and I bled it for good measure. No leaks on the slave or the Master and there is no dampener.-TO Bearing is OK, I just checked it and it has less than 15k on it.- transmission is fresh, Synchros are good-Clutch bites good and operates fine until the pedal is released all the way.
