It seems like it don't want to pick up speed but it seems to be in a strain then it frees up an takes off!

how about basic maintenances such as spark plugs/coil packs all firing in spec? dirty air filter? clean throttle bodies? if so have you done a compression test to make sure all cylinders check out? my car seemed to lag at lower rpms as well when i first got it and i soon found out on #6 cylinder the connector was not plugged into the coil pack so it was running on 5 cylinders

I had a similiar problem with my 1991 300zx na.It was my injector connections and injectors needed cleaning because they were all corroded and i had my spark plugs changed to NGK's because supposedly the bosh ones suck for the engine LOL

yeah, stick with NGK plugs. also use some diaelectric grease on the connectors to keep moisture out and ensure good contact.. also use a fuel injector cleaner occasionally
