I have griped about my power problems for awhile, but I have narrowed it each time. My battery is not charging yet I have a high output alternator and had the positve and grounding cables tested and rewired. The shop I got the work done at, is now making me question wether or not they even did the alternator... I jumped the car and drove 30 miles on a short trip to charge it, DOA (dead on arrival) and would not restart a few hours later (parasitic loss can't even drain it that fast). I also bought another battery which it drained in about week, which makes sense if it was not recieving new power from the alternator.

Any other things or problems to check in reguards to recharging the battery?

Is there anyway to check the charging system accurately on my own, otherwise I will just drag the thing to a autozone for a free testing

Spent too much to fix this little thing so I WOULDN'T have to deal with it, this car has always had this problem

My Z used to go through batteries every few months, I was always returning them. Then I got an Optima Redtop like 4 or 5 years ago, haven't killed it
