Decided to go ahead install my winter wheels a little early so I wouldn't have to do it in the cold. The tires are skinnier so I should be able to cut through snow than the nismos.

still looking good. i just got my winter tires mounted (bought 2 new tires to replace a pair that was worn out). i have yet to put them on the car but their just black steelies. good idea keeping your stockers and using them as winter rims and painting them black.

it's crazy how much smoother the ride is. I def gained some "body roll" because of the taller tires, but going from 19s to 16s make a pretty big diff. I thought about doing my stock wheels this way, but my wife has a 2.5 and wanted the 3.5 stock wheels so I put them on her car and took her stockers and painted them lol

yeah going from 19's to 16's is a big difference. last year it was pretty noticable when i did the change, but it's kinda nice to have the smoother ride compared to 19's with the low pro tires. it helps when all of the pot holes start popping up from the winter
