Alright. The idea that middle America isn't as smart as "Blue" America needs to die here. Ever meet a farmer? Ever priced out a combine? ****, most preachers are pretty damn smart.

I mean, how would YOU feel if I made a similar statement "How would the Dems win without their support from Urban America?" with the implication they they're all dumb?

Stupid is the only bipartisan thing we've got.

I find true ignorance more tolerable than self-awarded feelings of intelligence. I am a suburban boy and I feel less polarized than the two ends of the metropolitan spectrum.

I find "country folk" simpler but not in a negative way like they are stupid, they just don't entertain silly **** that actually doesn't matter and it is refreshing.

I have found most urban people a little more interested in somewhat trivial things but still focused on the same crucial issues of employment, education, taxes etc which is reassuring. Now the higher you go up in the buildings in the city things change. The closer you get to penthouse level the more detached, deluded, elitist and vapid people get.

I propose that America is not divided horizontally but rather vertically. Most people on the ground level seem to share common values.

I'd be fine with it. Like I said, I'm from Middle America.
