Well I havent really made a post about me, so heres what Im working with...

Before touching anything...

Pulled the manifold to lose all the rats nest of vacuum...

Custom EGR block off plate...

All clean, just had to modify the TB and get rid of the trac control. Ill post more pics tomorrow..

Mocked up the engine today to see what else needed to come off...

There was a bracket in the way that wouldnt let the motor sit all the way in, thats why its sitting so high out. Was caught on the sway bar.

Ordered everything except the exhaust stuff from excessive manufacturing

Mounted it up..

I built my first ever header this weekend wasn't too bad. Varocktoy is helping weld it up, I just tacked it together. Its not too pretty but it'll work for now, the only options for headers are make your own or order mazworx headers for $900. f*** that.

Thats looking nice. Could you tell me how bad the vibrations are since the mounts are solid because I am actually thinking of getting their kit instead of going custom they say the engine is smooth enough that you don't need isolators Thanks .mine is going to be my DD so I dont want it to be uncomfortable.

What are your thoughts on that adapter plate? How thick is it?

The plate is about a 1inch thick, it very nicely made. The mounts sit the engine very low and should clear a hood. I dont have one to test yet though haha. It is made to clear the sway bar but I am running aftermarket knuckles for more angle so I removed it.

I like the whol kit but the mounts are kinda hard to poisiton the engine.

Does the adapter plate leave any open space around the bottom of the bellhousing and starter? It kind of looks like it would be blocked off. My Mazworx adapter fits perfect but I hate having the bottom open with the amount of dirt my car will see.

Driver side done..

Passenger side just needs to be welded up..

Just finished wiring the harnesses. Big thanks to SuperHatch! I skipped all the consult so it was only like 13 wires.

It has plenty of room to run the heater. But all of that is removed on my car, the wiring harness is tucked to where the heater core and AC are usually located.

We tried to start the car and got nothing. The fuel pump turns on and most electrical, the starter didnt turn over though. Im going to pull the lower harness and take a look at it.

Lower harness was wired wrong. Fixed that and it turns over now.

Now the problem is we are getting no spark. I have a week to get the car out of the garage. The pressure is on.

So you ever get it running and out of the garage? I would like to hear if the solid mounts would be unbearable for a daily drive haha Thanks.

hate to gravedig, but I'm curious as to what all you've done to your engine bay other than the swap, I'm building a 240 for track duty and liking the look of what you've done, thanks!
