Definitely loose the chrome fender trim, it just makes the wheels look even smaller than they are.louiegz wrote:The BBS is ten times better than the piepans. Looks good. Now if you could get rid of the chrome fender things, the Q will be perfect.

I fully agree, but I worry about the nastiness that might be under there. Has anyone ever removed chrome trim from an old Q? It was installed by the original owner who had the car from 90-92, but its an all-California car so perhaps it isn't so bad...?Falkdesigns wrote:Definitely loose the chrome fender trim, it just makes the wheels look even smaller than they are.
Not really. Ancelton, and a very FEW others I've seen show the rare car with a very thin chrome strip. We're talking less than 1% of cars. Now, if Jesda got that chrome painted it would actually then look like flares, but with such tiny wheels, I wouldn't do it. Hey Jesda, I'll sell you my wheels later this year!AZhitman wrote:Chrome fender trim is VIP-style.
I want to keep tire costs down. With each takeoff or each time I throw the tail out, I hear "chaching"Falkdesigns wrote:
