Well just got back from the strip. i had 2 runs. (the drag strip has been down so they jammed 2 events plus test n tune tonight; bad idea to go)

my second run was 13.5 at 110. lovely 60ft of 2.4

that was tearing up first and second before third actually caught. definitely have 12 potential with some traction.

ill be out there again after everyone gets it out of there system. ill be aiming for low 12s with a new tune setup.

also the car weight was at 2960 with me in it (135lbs). thats a riced out s14, gutted, still has deadening, 1/2 tank of gas and no passenger seat.

setup:

rb25aem ems550cct3/t4 (.48a/r)fmic and exhaust

tuned at 330 with still a lot of potential for more.

Get that 60 ft. down and that should be in the 12's with 110mph. My stock rb25 @9psi on stock turbo went 14.4 at 100mph with the same 2.4 60 ft. It was pretty embarrasing and I have told myself I will not go out there again until I get some better tires. @100mph I should be in the mid-high 13's

2way lsd275 bfg force? gotta look that up30 psi. i wanted to play with it, but just too many people, not enough time

and get those injectors! there duty cycle must be pushing it.

but for sure go with 740cc. i wish i had. ill be getting close to what i want my injectors duty cycle to be at.

How much boost are you runing?

I have a bit of confidence with the injectors. I remember seeing someone on here put down 29X whp on an RB20 with Stock inj, fuel pressure and 14psi. MY AFR's were rich @ ~11:1 7k rpm.

I just figured out how to see duty cycle (lol) on the AEM. So tonite I'll have a # on 370cc's @ 17 psi.

That sucks man I know how it is. When they open the tracks out here you get 3 chances to make a pass then wait another month or drive and hour into the high desert to get some passes. You will get it down with more track time.

Developed a boost leak but at 11psi it was hitting 82% @ 6500rpm.

Did some testing this morning:14psi, 3rd gear, 102% duty cycle, 7200 rpm (soft cut), 11.5AFR, no change knock voltage.

t3/t4 50 trim, internal wastegate.

370 cc's definetly not safe at 14psi with a t3/t4.

Hey Krayton - can I see your ignition map?

I guess I expected you to go a bit faster with 330whp. What was the torque?

Jon thats almost 500lbs more than your car, and by the looks of it bald tires and/or all seasons.

Sounds right to me. Traction and a launch would help a lot =P

My car weighed 2650 and I was on 245 rwhp when I ran a 13.3 @ 110 back to back to back. I was just curious why his trap speed wasn't higher.

i had some major traction issues. i didnt hook up till 3rd gear. just kept pedaling all the way down the track on 1st and 2nd.

these are brand new 275 bfgs i put on for the strip.

with 110trap speed i should be in the mid to high 12s.

friend with me ran 12.7 at 111 w/ 2.1 60ft. he was having some slight traction issues too.

Well I figured you had traction problems because I was hitting 2.3 60' also. No doubt you will be mid to high 12's with even a 2.0 60'.
