this is all the car related stuff that went down this weekend.

saturday, went to the annual 240sxmotoring meet/show thing. started off by going up to cabela's to join the cruise down. we pissed off a lot of drivers by creating a bit of a traffic jam from hartford all they way to milford.







there were a lot more cars, but they were having a rough time keeping up with all my n/a ka fury.

got to the meet, saw some nice cars, but only a couple stood out and made me take pics

and then this bad a** roadster



so after a while, i went all brown on magikdragon and raided his trunk for whatever i could fit underneath my shirt. he forgot his balls in his gf's purse so he left to meet up with her and heavy came to my house for some bs'ing. between that afternoon and yesterday morning, this happened:

i'm reserving prime real estate for my honda ricer stickers (when i actually order them).

I love the custom oil pan. Looks badass.

100% fully custom, with a dipstick provision so i won't have to drill and tap the block to relocate the stock dipstick. i like it. and it's ahead of schedule.

Also, I love the wood grain paint job on the valve cover. Looks wicked!

nitrous bottle, as well as various other trim pieces, had the same finish. supposedly some type of crazy wrap process that involves the patterned film, water, and acid, or something like that. that day was actually the first time he's driven that car. thing was sick.

i'd eat there again. not going out of my way, but if i stumble upon it again, and i was hungry, i'll stop. double bacon cheeseburger with i forget what toppings (they have a list to choose from, and i believe there no limit) and spicy fries. everything was made to order and fresh, pretty tasty.

Five guys used to be super uber awesome, but they've lost a little bit of awesome lately. There are about 4 in my area. Way better than any fast food place though. Oh, and nice pics. Less info on the personal playtime though...

Liar. They authorize franchises in 5 store bundles only.

It's basically a backyard grill joint that serves everything in a kind of pure way. The fries are Idaho potatoes and deep-fried dark and old-school style with the skin still on.
Possible the best-made fries for vinegar and salt ever. They still taste awesome with other condiments tho.
