whats up nico!!!just sharing my update on my 240 coupe.due to money problems i had to sell my ka-t motor set for $1200 and i am left with $950 after i got that works9 replica aero kit for $150,i;m going to be saving up some money to do a rb20 swap.for the past 3 weeks i have been trying to take out 100% of the sound material in the car and so far i'm 75% there.on the trans tunnel there are spots that are like tar and very hard to get off so i am going to use paint stripper to remove those spots. so far on the intire car there has been one rust spot and thats on the lower part of the firewall.(not bad for a $300 car)but it is on one part of the frame rail and i am not sure how to repair it.can anyone help out with that? i am going to get the car ready for the s@w 8pt cage that is in my room, and i am going to rock the kae for a little until the rb20 swap is in reach.also i took the wing off the car and the a/c.

eh, its not that bad. however, getting all that residue off sucks. use some brake cleaner, then paint it.

I used paint thinner and a rag to wipe that excess stuff off. Worked pretty well after scrubbing it.It looks like crap with all the dust and other crap still left in there, but once you clean it out and paint it it looks nice, even ooks a lot nicer after you just clean it all up

it's been really easy taking most of it off since it's been like 10 to 20 degrees outside but those parts are a pain.i going to try a heat gun and see if that works

i did it in my trunk to fix rust and clean it up. dry ice ftw. did the hatch in 30mins. heat gun might just make it all gooey and harder to scrape. But to each its own.
