I finally got some things done on the vert that I've been planning for a looooong time... I have more to do, but this is where I am for now... I've had some personal "misfortunes" in the last 2 years, but now it seems things are leveling out.

Over the past 2 months, I installed or performed the following: JDM rims/new tires, camber plates on the Koni coilovers, replaced one bad Koni strut, repainted rear koni struts, poly tension bushings, repainted tension rods, replaced steering rack and lines, tein tie rods and ends, oem tie rod boots, Q45 front calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, new pads, and removed and cleaned ps pump.

So as an end result, here's what I have to show you:

uh... er.... hmmm.... it's not so clean... lol! Actually, The whole car is not as clean as it looks in the pics. I just want to get the suspension sorted before I move onto the body. If all goes well at the alignment shop today, the body is next!

In the meantime:

Looking great! Love the rims...what brand and what size are they? Some close up pics would be great.

Thanks. They're Ray's wheels. 17", 8" front and 9" rear.

I need a whole new paint job. Have some rust in the quarters too. They're coming off in the winter.

Spacers for what? The rims? I think the rears might hit the lip as it is!

I got them at http://www.rbwheels.com. Price was a good deal... They were running a free shipping special, so I jumped on it.

I did a lot of research trying to find nice JDM wheels that I could afford. They had the best prices I could find.

Yup, is sure is. It's ok, I have a parts car with perfect quarters on it. Gonna cut them off and weld them on (with a lil flare) this winter. I'm just gonna enjoy the car as is this summer.

I would lose that trim crap and probably that black tap stuff. I am sure that trim likes to hold moisture and speed up the rusting process.

You're probably right. Right now it makes no difference... the quarters are getting cut off completely this winter anyway... :D

Yea, a bit tough to get to set nice, but work well.

Now all I need is a new power steering line. Anyone have one? I need the one that goes from the pump to the hard line. It has a bolt going through it...

Looking good Dan. Nice to see you post again, it's been a while since we've seen any updates or progress on the car.

I agree with everyone, those wheels are awesome and really make the car!

Wow a Vert and Delorean, what a mix.. Niiccee..always liked those. Keep up the good work. Slow and steady is what I live by with the upgrades. Looks like a good starting point, so any progress is good progress.
