I bought a versa about 4 months ago an dwith 500 miles on it someone but a huge basketball size dent in the hatchback. I got that fixed for $600 bucks and then on sat. i got a rock chip driving on the interstate and before i had a chance to fix it the thing cracked the next day. They guy said he could not fix it and that i would need a new windshield. Luckely it is on the passanger side so i will just leave it and hope that it does not get any worse. Because of the way it is cracked i think that it will just crack to the bottom od the windshield during winter. I am starting to regret trading off my beater truck.

Full coverage insurance should cover a new winshield (sometimes without a deductible).

Exactly. If you have "comprehensive" coverage they will replace it free with no deductable. Check your policy.

I checked and they said the deductable still ablies. I thought it was a lowere deductable but they said that it was the full thing.

Don't give up hope, there's always something bad that happens and it can't be avoided if it's a situation like that. It's not the end of the world.

i also think mine is cursed. My versa has the license plate number 666-JHF so it is the devil. i had a crack mysteriously appear when the car was in the garage, someone hit it in at the shops and left no details.

Go check Nissan for a new windshield weirdly enough they were the cheapest to get a replacement only only like $196 whereas obrien's were nearly 300

It's a car. It has nothing to do with being a Versa. They get beat up. There's no way around it except not to drive it. I have a scuff on my rear bumper and scratches in two different spots on my passenger door. I don't like it but I won't spend money to get it fixed because it is still just a car that will become too old to drive anyways. If I spend money to fix every little thing that happens to my car, I wouldn't have money for the next car.
