I love that Stillen kit. I agree that the "odd" part of it is the spoiler, but I don't think the Nissan OEM spoiler would look quite right with the rest of the kit.

First, I LOVE the way you took the pictures ! The fact that the background is way out of focus makes it look like a blue screen or a small toy car

Second, I personnally like the spoiler, it gives it a different look then the OEM or the cheap Echo-like one on eBay. Where did you get it ?

Finally, all you need now is a new grille.

By the way, you're from Raleigh, N.C. ! Last year, my brother, who is a radio host, did a publicity stunt: He had to go from Trois-Rivières, Québec, to Raleigh, N.C., to watch the game between the Hurricanes and the Canadians with only 102,30 $Can (Radio channel 102,3FM). I know that he stopped by a local radio station to talk about his trip, did you hear about it ?

I love the look of the car. It look clean and sleek. Like others tho I'm not real crazy about the spoiler. I think the Versa only looks good in 2 colors personally. The white looks great, as does the black (which I have). Question for you tho, what percent is your tint and is it the same all around?

Actually, I just found out that with a few decals on the sides, you would have a carbon-copy of the Stillen Versa !http://www.nicoclub.com/articl...shtml

Nice !

Really sharp Versa you got there! I can live with the spoiler but the wheels aren't really my thing. All in all, good job!

I definitely think it stands out as opposed to your run of the mill hatch spoiler. The two wings are really cool to me.

Thanks a lot for the comments. I guess you probably figured this out by now, but I purchased the spoiler through Stillen. I saw that you said something later on about mine being virtually a carbon copy of their project car. For one, my rims and tires are different. Second, I went with 17" wheels while they used 18". The graphics are alright, but I wasn't interested in them for my car. I think everything about the car looks better white than red. Finally, I had the rocker panels taken off and sanded before painting to get the texture out so the paint would turn out much better. It's similar to their car, but just because I use some pieces of their kit, I wouldn't call it a carbon copy.

PS: I din't get the little mid-rear second spoiler that they have.

I don't know about the grill. I'm satisfied with mine. The one Stillen makes is overpriced and doesn't look any better.

As for the thing about your brother going to the Hurricanes/Canadiens game, I didn't hear about that, but it sounds pretty cool.
marleyfan wrote:Question for you tho, what percent is your tint and is it the same all around?
It's 35% all around with a 15% visor the front windshield. It doesn't turn out looking as dark, because for one, I have the beige interior and two, they said that Nissan's glass comes with absolutely zero color in it which is not the norm.

Thanks very much! I appreciate that and I'm glad you liked them.

It's already lowered and I don't really have any problems with it scraping. I put the Eibach springs on it and it makes for a much stiffer ride, but some nice handling.

Thank you, matt_a. Kind words.

Different strokes for different folks. The wheels won me over right away, but I realize that not everyone is going to be into the black wheels with the machined silver spokes. That's quite alright with me, though.

It is nice, that spoiler is more agressive and stands out (I hardly notice my OEM one).

I think the only reason I don't like the rims a little is because Stillen had that type, I just usually don't like the stuff they do. And seeing all the 'Stillen' Vs at dealerships around here.

Maybe I'll see ya if I'm out that way sometime for a carolinanissans meet.

The OEM one looks fine and all, but I think that the Versa has an edgy sort of design and I think that is why the spoiler fits it so well.

My wheels may look similar to the ones Stillen used, but they are actually quite different. Stillen went with the Sport Max brand of wheels, while I chose Konig. I don't really like the foreground/background spoke look. Or those funny looking rivets...

Here is a side by side comparison for you:

I had no idea that any dealerships around here would have Stillen' Project Versa.

Maybe I'll see you around, though.

Modern in Winston and Nissan of Statesville both have red CVT ones.

Ah, that's pretty neat. They must be cooler dealerships than the ones around here.

Not sure about that. But Modern has been #1 in a few things in this region for a few years now.

Forgot to ask, what's the width and offset of the wheels and tire size?

Well, that's saying something. I doubt seriously that any of the ones I've visited have been number one in anything aside from customer dissatisfaction. It's cool, though, I got my car and hopefully I won't have to deal with them anymore.

Does anyone know if Stillen ships to Canada... doesn't seem like so ! Also, the parts come primed, but not painted, right ?

Bob at Versaspeed.com carries the Stillen kit... have you asked him if he can ship to you?

First off, I went to their site and calculated shipping to some Canadian postal codes and they worked, so I do believe they ship up there to you guys.

Second, they are urethane parts and they come without any sort of prep or paint work done.
