I just bought a pre-owned 2012 Versa S HB. Everything seem good unless a little weird problem. The car without any power when engine off  , the head-light or even dome light don't turn on. So when I get in the car at night, it completely blackout until I find the key hole and turn on the engine  . Because this is my first Nissan. So is this normal for the basic Nissan Versa? Is there any way to turn on the dome light at night automatically?

Have you checked the switch on the dome light? If it's in the center position it is always off. I believe switched toward the front is automatic and toward the back is always on.

The switch is at Door position. When the engine on and I open the door, the dome light will on. But if I off the engine, the dome light also gone even the switch at Door or On position?!?!?

No, no head lights, no turning lights. That's mean completely no power when the engine off.

Seems like someone replaced or messed with the ignition switch or the accessory wiring. To start, you can check your fuses, but I think I'm reading that the lights are functional, just not when the key is off. I think there's a chance you'll find a weird bypass wire in either the relay box or the fuse box. Is this a recent purchase and can you still check with the previous owner?

The previous of this car is bussiness car. I am not sure if they found out this problem or not, or maybe some one messed up the wiring like you said. I don't add anything into the car until now, so I have to find some one to fix the problem.

I see. You can't ask the business owner to tell you what they did. That's kind or normal. And you looked into the fuse box and the relay box and everything looked like it came from the factory, nothing weird in there, and your fuses are good. Well, after that, I'd test my ignition switch and accessory relays. I hope you find someone who can fix it for you for a reasonable price.
