My valves are going crazy

What up NICO i need some answer from ya'll 240 geeks. I got a 92 coupe with a KA24DE. I got this issue with my valves, they sound like rocks in a can when you go from one gear to another. I'm thinking the timing could be off or my valve are not sitting right, also i got stage one cams 248/248, brian cowers. I just want to know what is causeing this issue and yes i did the search thing and i didn't find a damn thing.

well rocks in a can sound make me think timing chain rattle, but thats usually at idle. are you sure its not just pinging from using low octane fuel? if you lug it it will ping. is there any other you can describe it?

well in low rpm the valve start sing until it reaches a higher rpm and i'm using 89 octane. I know the guide on my chain is singing too and i'm going to fix that.

well i have been using premium and i havent had any pinging issues since i stopped buying low quality gas, it only costs a few more dollars per fill. as for the timing chain rattle, its pretty easy to do, there should be a write up in the how-to section.

Alright i'll change my fuel and see if that changes and i give ya'll an update and my rattleing chain guide will be off this weekend..thanks guys

i think that is what it is..

The rattle is always there, no just on idle.. ive had 3 cars that have done it.
