Oh!! Got it. As far as I know, most people leave sheet metal on in that case.

I am going to attempt to answer everyones questions inthis post. So, here goes.

Eikon: Next for the car is bigger displacement. Going with the Brian Crower 4.15 stroker kit. I am a big advocate of doing things in steps so that I am not compounding problems so I will get that motor going and reliable. Once I am comfortable with it we will see....I would love to do a large manly turbo set up on her....stay tuned.

Ohsoclean240: I did indeed remove the fenders underneath the over fenders. Basically we cut them up about 5" and rewelded and rolled them back together as to not allow the elements and tire smoke creep back up into the cabin. I HIGHLY recommend this modification as imo it is pretty much pointless to use overfenders if you don't.

Silvia_Freak: The exhaust was hand fabricated using 3" stainless.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words....again.

I've been wondering when this vert shows up for Falken tire ad and finally showed up this month. I was looking at Compact Sport Car and it was there. Looks like FD3S --> BMW M6 --> 240sx vert. Nice!!!

I swear to everything I love I got this mag a few weeks ago. After that I purchased my vert! This car is the reason I came back to the scene after a 4 year break! Beautifull machine... and the lips on those wheels....OMG! Angelina Jolie should be jealous...ha ha

to you or anyone on here to get the front end conversion of the 97/98, would a junk yard be the best bet, but i really the only stock things i want would be the grill and hood? for the lights fenders and bumper are there any decent sites with after market parts, plus are there any mods or does it all just screw where my current front end is at?

That is a very nice looking car. I bought an 89 hatch and 91 coupe to build. The coupe was crashed and had good motor. Hatch had blown sr20, but body was straight and s13 clip was on it already. Made one car out of two and and junked the coupe. As I began to search for parts and looking through mags, I ran into your car on the cover. I was amazed how nice it turned out.......and I went out and bought one. I purchased 93 for 2k...decent shape and prepared for transformation. I have the car getting SR20 conversion right now and can't wait for next step.

My intentions are to build it for SHOW and GO. Hopefully it will turn out as nice as yours.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Mikey (110octane) last weekend in Utah... Super-cool guy, and we had a blast talking convertibles.

It's awesome knowing someone who has the same all-out passion for building a badass vert.

Athough, he let me in no a little secret - Mine won't be faster any longer, as he's adding BOOOST to the VQ.... BASTARD!!!!

j/k Mickey - Thanks for hangin' out at Miller!
