Looks like Ben isn’t the only one who is getting hit by stoopid people! This time its me... here is the story…

Old man is driving in the middle of the road in a Green Ford Ranger and comes to a stop.... (This is something that isn’t unusual out in hickville where I live) So I get as far over as possible and stop a few feet behind him....

Then the old man puts his truck in reverse.... and hits the gas…. I lay on my horn... and next thing I know, old man continues to back his honky broke a** pos Ford INTO my car! Now this is on an actual ROAD! And I had no time to put my car in reverse...

The cops show up and guy is like well... I was stopped in the road... inferring that I rear-ended him.... So the cop came over and asked me what happened and I told him. And he asked the old man why he was backing up... The old man puttered around for a few seconds, trying to think of something to say, and I was like please don’t lie, and he quickly responded "I don’t lie..." then he said (this is the best part) "Well... umm… well, I was actually backing up to go look at the tractors that are for sale over there… I missed his driveway, so I was backing up to go back." Figures my car would get crunched over some friggin TRACTORS! Anyway... here is the damage... its not that bad but its bad enough to really piss me off... I just hope he doesn’t change his story to his insurance company… I have to go get some estimates this week, Im thinking new bumper cover, fender and corner light…

don't count on that happening. i got into an accident last month...some chick clip the rear of my car. the insurance only gave me 600 dollars...and thats suppose to cover labor, parts, and the PAINT JOB!. in the end you'll end up coughin up 2-3 hundreds of your own and even than your car is not the same.

Doesn't matter if he tells his insurance company a different story. There's a police report out there where he admits to backing in to your car.

Thanks guys, and thanks repo hopefully everything will work out; my car was "hot" until she got trashed by the old geezer. Funny thing was, after the wreck I pulled into a lot to take out my fender liner and had several people stop to make sure I was okay, which was nice even though I didn’t need any help but anyway they wanted to talk about the car, what I had done to it and my plans for it... heck one guy even drove around it to check out the exhaust and whatnot... it was funny, figures she gets more attention when she is wrecked.... lol I am pretty sure there may be some brackets that are bent, the headlight looks pushed back but not cracked thank god, Ill know for sure whats up with it when I get it into a shop, and get stuff appart...

I’m going tomorrow morning to check out the police report... oh ya AZ I actually just put some BMW E36 3 series horns on, so they are plenty loud... much louder than the sucky stock horn, but I guess it still wasn’t loud enough for his deaf geezer ars... and Bud, the dog in the pic is Dutch, she is a mutt we think she is a black lab/chow mix... she is a sweetheart... ill keep everyone posted with what happens...

Yesterday my mom got into her car, and opened the door. Paying no attention to my car parked beside it, she slammed the door into the fender, and left an ugly dent. The dent will just match the rest of the dings in the car, until I can get some body work done.

Good news! Just got off of the phone with the claims representative and they are settling in my favor.
