It's about damn time, heh!

I started working on this engine and gave it a complete overhaul since I got it in March of 05. Right now, it's pretty much stock except for:- 3-angle valve job- 300zx twin turbo MAF- Apexi air filter- HKS turbo elbow- 2.5" mandrel bent straight through exhaust with a fart can- polished intake- 240sx throttle body (stock CA TB = 54mm, KA TB = 60mm, then ported intake)- Jim Wolf Tech modified ECU- Greddy Type S BOV- top mount intercooler

Well, I guess it's not too stock but there's so much more I have yet to put into it that's just sitting in the garage but if I keep adding stuff to it, I'll never have the car on the road. If all goes well, it should be on the road on Wednesday and you will see me on the road on Sunday. Just keep an eye out for the Pulsar with a different colored door =). Anyways, here's the vids of me a few hours ago. Let me just say that this car pulls like nuts and won't hook in second with somewhat new sport tires. I would imagine it puts out near 220hp at the wheels and considering this car only weighs about 1900 pounds, heh, well, just look =D

looks like shizit man! But it sounds like it runs well. I liked hearing it burn them up through second. I'll bet it's a blast. Get some bigger meats on there and take it to the drag strip!!! Congrats!

Quote from microsoft's website:"Playback Issues3.1 What can I do about video problems, such as if green or pink lines appear on the video, flickering or choppy video, the Player stops responding when playing video, and so on?Check for updates for the driver software for your graphics adapter and Microsoft DirectX® from the Windows Update page."

Quote:In 1996, MPC Level 3 was announced:

75MHz Pentium CPU 8MB RAM 540MB hard disk Video system that can show 352 x 240 at 30 frames per second, 15-bit color MPEG-1 hardware or software video playback 4x CD-ROM drive using no more than 40% of CPU to read, with < 250ms seek time Sound card outputting 44KHz, 16-bit sound Windows 3.11 "end quote"

My point being, MPEG-1 playback was a STANDARD in pre-1996.. It's 2005... ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL computers can support mpeg-1. ANY direct-x will support mpeg-1

Granted, the last line,,, drivers, wrong/old/bad/etc VIDEO drivers can/will cause bad hardware mpeg playback. Direct-x updates will not resolve mpeg-1 playback problems as direct-x 5.0 supported mpeg-1 playback..Forgive my bickering....

What player are you using to playback the video files? I'd HIGHLY sugguest """MEDIA PLAYER ""CLASSIC"" """It's a universal player that looks like the "classic" media player v. 6.X (not the stupid bubbly graphical McDonalds FAST FOOD kid video game media player 50,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!).. It's short, sweet, feature ritch, and not filled with CRAP.

Cheers

ps. (choose "start", run, type in mplayer2 (manual command for the older media player 6.X, drag the video from where ever you saved it to over to the media player window..).

I've tried classic media player, medial player 9.0, Winamp, and Quicktime. The first 3 applications just have garbled green squares and some video mixed with the "messed up mp3's from Kazaa" sounds. Quicktime simply doesnt play. I've downloaded "all inclusive" codec update packs and nothing has fixed it. Some .mpg files play, others do not (including the ones in this thread). I'm stumped.

as of august last year microsoft cut off all support and declared windows NT obsoletewin2k (workstation) is about to be obsolete as well, leaving only XP and 2k3 as their systems... paving teh way for longhorn (which theyll never debug enough to release a stable build)

the point is backup your stuff, reinstall with XP or go mac/linux/BEos/OS2 or something else, then install all the current fixes, and install a decent antivirus (norton/symantec, mcaffee (dont like), or panda antivirus) then (most important) download the newest virus definitions for that product

then get the newest media player versions from your vendor and download.com

if i were there, i could fix it for you, but that the advice i can give over a message board

and if you try linux, i use slackware, but for ease of use, i reccommend redhat, SUSE or debian, and i think lindows has a good release now too... its like windows, but linux
