that turbo looks no bigger than a T3/T04E. Maybe a 60-1ish size on the compressor, thats about it.

volvo's do typically come with holsets. The engine they put em on is a 2.5 litre 4 cyl. The volvo car ones are usually internally regulated tho, and i don't know what its set at, the boost gauge in the bertone here doesn't have numbers......

That type of exhaust housing is from marine turbos or powerplant turbos that run mostly to fixed RPMSNothing a good external gate could handle

the volvo 2.5 liter is not a 5 cylinder, its 4. i looked at the turbo one today, and pulled another motor just like it last week.

o thats why because every newer volvo, since maybe 97, hasnt even had a 4 cyl, mostly they all had 5 cyl and recently they have come out with a 6 and 8 cyl

ok...well I know for a fact this didnt come off a 2.5L volvo....It came off an 8.3 liter SEMI....so well know its a 6cyl or bigger...but i think it was a 6cyl cause the max rpm of the engine was 2100 redline....damn thats low...but it has a long *** stroke and this turbo make full boost at like 900rpms on those big *** semi's....its like instantaneous once they step on gas its full boost ahead....but thanks for your time....i will enjoy this on the 240...im looking for big numbers...and since i fully built my entire engine..it can handle it.
