Nice!
You planning on matching the center console color too?

glad they are comfortable, next question are you going to redo your interior the same color or leave it as is?

Dcaff, the console is staying black. The lid, boots and knobs are already new as well as the steering wheel.

STM, all tweed will be the tan leather. Then I am redoing the carpet in the rear, building a custom amp rack, and building a sub into the spare tire hole.

OK, got it you're going tan leather on the inserts and door panels like mine- NICE!
I really like the smooth leather feel instead of the rough tweed or cloth, and it cleans SO much easier.
Should be a great combo, can't wait to see that when done!

Kinda fun ordering stuff, just less fun paying... :yesnod

Just spent $422 at Z1 myself, got a ceramic 6-puck clutch and HD clutch fork coming to go in with my replacement turbos and a new rear main seal.
Can't WAIT to be boosting again...and this time on ball bearings!!! :woot:

SMZ300ZX was kind enough to still have his 530bb's, and sell them to me with DP's for a fair price...thanks, Hank!

Not a lot done lately that will show. I've got a pic below of the panel under the steering wheel, I wrapped it a couple of days ago. Friday I'm getting my new door panels so I can do the trim on them as well as new hard pipes to replace the silicone boost/intake ones because dust and crap sticks to them too much. I'm also going for the dyno tune at Harrys (http://www.ztuner.com).

Other little things I've done lately:
- Got the driver's seat controls working
- Got the speedometer working
- Replaced the AC pod mount
- Rebuilt the master cylinder and replaced all the brake fluid with Amsoil

Went to Harry's yesterday (http://www.ztuner.com) for a tune. Still have an issue with one side a little leaner than the other, but I think I have it figured out. Still was able to put down 376whp/408tq at 16psi on 93 octane. So after I fix the AFR issue, I'm hoping to jump over 400. But all in all, I'm stoked!

Nice splits, looks like we both are looking for the same type of setup with a little more TQ than HP.

Just got the Dyno graph.

Image

Also took the time today to finish up the driver's door panel. I'm no pro by any stretch, but its coming along pretty decent :)

Yeah it was a pain. Passenger side should be easier.

Thanks STM. I'll be putting it back on the dyno after Zdayz. Once I've got the lean bank fixed and manual cams in, I'll be right where I want to be!

So, my dad came in for a visit for a few days and we jumped on the bodywork together. Check out the progress!

The next few days will be finishing the work on the rockers, deleting the antenna, then block, block, block, block... you get the picture!

So I've been block sanding my brains out the past couple of days. The car is pretty much done, with the exception of a couple of shallow spots and around the door handles once I pull them Monday. I also re-did the texture today. And the last pic is after I've pulled the front bumper for paint, fenders and doors for jamming the beginning of the week! This week is the week of COLOR!!!

Alrighty! Some paint pics!!!!

Here are some shots when I was jamming it:

Here it is taped up, painting in my neighbor's garage because I had not setup my DIY booth yet
Image

She's a bit naked :naughty:
Image

Here is a shot of the color in the sun. Looks black in the shade
Image

Here is a shot of my makeshift paint booth. I wrapped my carport in 6 mil visqueen. Put a filter at one end and a fan at the other.
Image

Some shots during base coat:
Image

Image

Pulling the tape off!
Image

Here's a shot of the carport. I was given lemons, so I made lemonade ;)
Image

Here are a couple of shots while I was buffing.
Image

Image

Here is my favorite pic. This is the driver's door reflection :) Not bad for a makeshift booth, Harbor Freight Paint gun and buffer. I'm pretty stoked!
Image

Today I'm finishing the buffing and hopefully putting a few trim pieces back in because I'm about to leave for vacation for a week and want to see it in the sun!
