Nice...but just wait 'til you get to the door panels, the inserts at the arm rests and curving back edge is...a true pain unless your material is VERY stretchy and forgiving.
Can't wait to see yours done!

You and me both brother. I drove over to Daytona today to watch the Rolex 24 trials. Pretty cool taking the Z in the infield!

Another small update.. Received my new window moldings in yesterday
Image

Installed them today and decided to put some new black trim paint on the mirrors.

Next week, my new tail lights come in, and I've got a new third brake light in, going to remove the spoiler next week and install it all. Then in a couple weeks I'm ordering my seat covers and trim kit. Hopefully within the next month I will order my TwinZ typeII rear bumper, then its finally bodywork time. Still hoping to be done in time to win a trophy at Zdayz 2014!

Little bit more beautifying today. Pretty much just hanging things in place for test fitments as it will all come back off in a couple months for paint. But received my new third brake light lense and eBay smoked tails.

My wife is sorry to see this little plant go as he is part of the family now ;) A plant has been growing out of that hole in the spoiler since the day I pulled the car out of the shed from the guy I bought it from.
Image

Here we are with the spoiler off. Yum!
Image

Now with them all in place

Better light angle

Interior is ordered, while I'm waiting, I purchased my primer and paint and I'm starting on the engine bay first. It was all pristine with high heat engine enamel, but because of the 2 motor pulls due to spun bearings, its got messy. Not to mention I've deleted a lot, so decided to start welding up holes.

Crappy pic because of the sun, but first day of welding up holes

In primer tonight:

Tomorrow I am degreasing and scuffing the underside of the hood to get it ready as well. Hoping to paint Friday or Saturday. On a downer note, changed my mind on the Twinz bumper. Didn't realize they were out of stock until April and I'm trying to be ready for Zdayz, so I can't last minute it like that. Maybe later

I haven't posted in a bit, but I've been working my butt off on it! Lets just say three words... "Engine Bay Purdyness". Also, Monday I get my Jspec bumper in, and today I got my seat foam, covers and trim kit in! Time to get this bidness going!

After the seats are done, fix your lamp. In the picture, it's leaning way too much to the left. Might fall over.

Very keen eye Padawon

Today I finished smoothing and painting the T covers and shroud and got them installed. Not 100% complete, but the bay is getting close! Here are a couple pics. Not the greatest light I know

This week should be fun! Today my Jspec front bumper comes in, I took my seats out yesterday to drop off to a buddy who is installing the new foam and covers :dblthumb: I won't be doing a whole lot this week on it because I am installing the motor in my NA so I can move it around under its own power.

Side note, I hit a BBQ in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend where there were 50+ Z cars from the 240-370z. Here is a few pics of my car rolling. She is dirty and dented, but she ran amazing! Time to start making her look amazing!

Still waiting for my seats to come back, so knocking out a few small things and getting ready to do the trim kit.

Relocated the Boost timer and controller into the center console, but still have to build something to hold them prettier  .
Image

Relocated the gauges into the glove compartment, still have to build a pod to hold them.
Image

Installed my first pieces of the trim kit. Can't wait to see more!
Image

Painted the parts of the seat brackets that will be seen.
Image

Also, I just got my Jspec front in, haven't mounted it yet, just sitting there. Definitely like it better than the Gracer!

You'll love it even more when you go to mount it, it's a snap compared to even a USDM stocker. Probably the 2nd easiest thing to do on the damn car...

Well, I got the one with the USDM corners, so may have to play with it a little, but I wanted to keep my smoked corners and didn't want to have to remove the license mount. I'll update with pics hopefully next week when I have it on and primed.

Bumper looks great, even with the USDM's I bet it was easier to mount than the other one.

Ok, seats are in.. and yes they are VERY comfortable. I'm picking up a new seat control box because mine doesn't work, and with the new foam, I sit so high my head almost touches the Ttop cover :)

Looking good! Now you need some tint to keep the sun off the seats. It doesnt have to be super dark. Even 50% will work if you are not into dark windows.

Actually I'm leaning toward leaving it clear because it looks so fresh. There is a clear film that 3M makes that will help with heat and UV rays
