Well some cool and not so cool news. Cool news is I got the Selin in with Amsoil Oil-Less filters and Pre-Filters. Looks real sweet. I also have the Nismo 740cc injectors in. Got a base tune from Harry at Ztuner and she screamed! Was a blast beating out a G37 like he wasn't even there... until I spun a bearing

So, its tore down going to the machine shop to get the block cleaned, new crank checked and rotating assembly balanced. I decided to go with ARP head studs this go around and I'm changing all jets in the block to be sure.

Here is a recent pic of Shibui:

10w30 and oil pressure was perfect. We are really thinking the machine shop polished too much off that lobe. But I got a used crank at another machine shop right now getting checked. I'll be out of town for 2 weeks, so won't be putting it back together until mid-June. But my spirits are high. I know what to look forward to now, and I'm able to fix a couple of annoying leaks and re-clean everything. Gotta keep positive.

Been a while since I have updated. I've been EXTREMELY busy with work and was out of town for 2 weeks. This week I got some used FUCAs off Facebook and my Boost and EGT gauges. FUCAs are installed, Gauges not yet. I'm also about half way through building my radio bezel for my iPad mini. It will be a 'toaster style' entry from the top and I will have a bluetooth device to run the audio to the amp in the back. More to come soon!

I hate to say it but I really do not like slickies. I miss the T-tops way too much. I fell like it's almost useless to own a z32 and not have T-Tops. Almost. And she's being a moody whore right now but thats a long story.

Congrats on almost a year of a build thread that you've actually been making good progress on! I have one and haven't even had money/time to start on mine.

Well, I've been quiet because I spun a rod bearing :( So this past weekend, we got it pretty much put back together. I'm thinking it'll be running next weekend as I will be out of town this weekend. Since I had to do it again, I decided to pony up and go with head studs.

Full interior, black with tan seats and trim kit, ipad Mini radio and 10" sub in the spare tire hole. Outside will be Kaminari style skirts, mission lip spoiler, smoked tails and Twinz rear bumper. Shaving antenna and wiper holes. Painting Kodiak Brown.

Thats the plan!

I like it all except the brown. MY favorites will always be CRP and super white. That's just my personal preference though, I'm sure it will all look good on a clean Z.

Today was the first synthetic oil change. I also did a compression test and welded on a bung for wideband. Prepping for a tune with Harry at Ztuner on Friday. Time for some numbers!

Also, I ordered some interior parts to get started. Here's what I ordered so far:

- full LED conversion for all interior lights
- new steering wheel
- synth leather shift knob and boot, ebrake and boot, and console lid
- double din radio bezel

Next for the interior is to move the boost timer and controller into the center console, and the boost and egt gauge into the glove compartment and install the LED kit to replace cluster and other interior lights. Then purchase seat covers and trim kit in black leather.
