My truck = lemon (N)

Now I dont know if the previous owner cut off a voodoo priest in traffic,but for the past 2 months my truck's been behaving weird and aging like no other vehicle i ever driven

1.My DRL work whenever when it feels like it, this mainly happens on humid and/or rainy days.I never bothered to check,until i got pulled over today.I explained to the officer that it rarely happens and turned it on and off several times and it finally lit up for a bit.The nosey cop also noticed that my speedometer was frozen at 70km/h,and i explained it was a common problem with this generation Path/Qx4...dunno if he believed me but it sure made him chuckle *I am stopped at red light in that picture,sorry about the qualityalso i have less then 1/4 tank of gas,not 1/2

2.Since this spring ,i noticed i've been worse then my already mediocre MPG, 1/2 a tank doesnt get me over 100 km mixed driving ( i never go over 2500 rpm,very light on throttle).I never been able to calculate from a full tank since my cluster usually freezes,the trip meter recents from 0 or any 3 digit number of its choice...The weird part is i've been getting better mileage during the winter when the heat was always on,and usually on AUTO/4w Hi mode.

3.Also,despite a transmission fluid flush 4-6 months ago,i noticed for several daysthe transmission acts up around 50-60km/h,as soon as i give a little throttle it downshifts into second gear and engine brakes,when i let off its shifts to 3rd and coasts a At this point im totally with Buzzman and never touch the transmission fluid again. there is many other little things going wrong here and there,but i dont feel like ranting any longer then this lol...

I'm not getting any codes at the moment and my parents are in the middle of purchasing a new vehicle so i dont have much time to have it in at the shop..ill bring it in hopefully in the next week or two

I feel ya bro, I lost 3rd gear in my transmission this week

Im decent friends with a local transmission shop though so Im getting it fixed free of labour charge (Ill give him a case of canadian probly), but the parts are almost $750. Woulda cost me 20 hours labour though.... over 2 grand..... I wouldnt even have been able to afford it!!!
