My transmission is weird any ideas?

Hello~ I have a S13 with 5 speed transmission. And I realized that when I downshift it wasnt that smooth. I felt like my stick touched the gears. Just say when I was on 4th and I started to slow down so I stepped clutch all the way and started to do 4-3-2 I could do it but it wasnt that smooth I felt like I am hit the gears. So Do you guys have any ideas? What's happening to my transmission? Thanks

when was the last time you changed the oil?

chang oil, syncromesh may help
