got 3 runs in, here are the results:

#1st run

60' 2.666330 6.3091/8th 9.438mph 85.472*ET 13.949**mph 109.795*

#2nd run60' 2.198330 5.8641/8th 8.748mph 86.296*ET 13.264**mph 109.793*

#3rd run60' 2.308330 5.9381/8th 8.843mph 86.300*ET 13.365**mph 110.545*

95 S14 SE, built motor (9:1 wiseco, eagle rods, cometic MLS gasket, arp head studs), 248 232 cam setup, ACT xtreme clutch, fidanza flywheel, ASP crank pulley, RSR exhaust, FMIC, heavy 18" Work VS-XX wheels, 235/40/18 street tires, full interior, 11psi on a "dinky" Gti-R T28.

Who said t2 turbos on ka's choke? my trap speed is about 3 mph over what 50 trim t3/t4 owners run at the same boost...

Very nice. Seems you had traction issues...You got suspension? What was air temp? What you have for tuning?

hard to get traction on stretched 235's on a 9.5" rim. i have kyb agx set at max stiffness on eibach sportline springs. air temp outside was about 55 degrees. i am running enthalpy ECU with safc2 for correction.

How much correction you got. I had between 5-7% depending on humidity and temp outside. Had to keep changing each time I drove so I 0 it all out and used it for rpm/mafs% and knock

high throttle i have to adjust 15% from 4k-6k, then 10% from 6k-7k. my tune was originally for a s14 t28 not a gti-r t28.

Nice runs! Maybe next time click the AGX to full soft and get some better 60s..

LOL @ 15% correction...the ECU doesnt care if it's a S14 T28 or GTIR T28 but nevertheless I'd say you're making good power!

Very nice..i heard you had some bad luck with stock ka's back in the day, but it's nice to see you pounding out some solid 13's w/ high trap speeds now! What is the gtir? does it have dual ball bearings or those dual scroll wheels?

not very much boost with high trap speeds, i wonder how much power im actually making???

the Gti-R t28 is like the s14/s15 t28 but is NON-ball bearing and has a bigger exhaust housing .86AR compared to the smaller .64AR

People with SR's dont like the Gti-R t28 saying that its laggy and makes full boost at about 4100rpms, i can make full boost at about 2800rpms in 4th gear on a KA.

Not bad man! Not bad at all!!

Glad to see another KA with a T2 turbo on it!

I'm running a GT2860RS with a .86 hotside. Runs great and the power is so linear. It's like driving a stock V-8 in the S-Chassis.

[threadjack]My best run a few weeks ago up here at New England Dragway was:60' 1.9491/8 8.288mph 86.881/4 12.673mph 113.23

Running a solid 15psi losing traction all over the place. http://vids.myspace.com/index....63565[/threadjack]

damn good times. makes me want to turn up the t25 to 10psi, with the front mount on the way I'll def go to 9, not sure if 10daily on stock injectors will hold, takes 7 tho

its funny you said t2's fall off on the top end, my sr t25 makes 8 in 4th/5th pulls, but only 7 in 1st-3rd gears(well spikes in 3rd)

actually I think the thing pulls harder/better on the top end, redline 5th with ease(7k!) stock everything lol

I'm really thinking about riding out to gainesville for a tnt, but I dont have funds fvcking xmas damn eazye2000 thats quick, I too heart my t2 flnage, and will upgrade to a t28 series, come feb most likely with some 400/\cc injectors

KAT ftmfw!!!!111bitch

good job on the runs.........i personally would love to cut 60ft times like eazy but we will see what happens next time im at the track. you also suffer from the 2 second 60 ft like myself so i guess that will be the cheapest thing to fix on our setups right? lol.

I'll need to change my suspension and wheel setup. Im pulling mad camber to fit heavy 18x9.5" + 7 offset Work wheels on a 235 stretched tire. Also gotta soften up the rear end a bit also... its fine for now, track is closed for the season.

how close is a gtech pro? made a few runs this morning with it. best 8th was a 8.05 best 1/4 a 15.00 I wont tell you guys my 60 foot times best wasnt even in the 2 second range

like I said not sure how close it is but G/D. how about instead of a mod list, you get this;blown motor mounts, heat soaked sr smic leaking my 8psi down to 6psi,heavy ***(probably worse then yours sunny) 16x7w/225-60-16 spinning in top of 3rd fvcking gear, on an clutch. oh and a welded diff.

traps in the 105ish sorry for jacking the thread, I'm just mad, but in my favor its like 85* out got nerved off and found out that fat white boys(mich tires) fail as in they fold under lateral loads

Any single turbo can be made to make as much boost at any desired rpm and a twin setup. Only when you speak in terms of 1000's of whp do you NEED to discuss twin turbo's. No setup can be compared to another. You definitly CAN NOT compare turbo's when you're referring to trap speed.

Honestly, after a while, I pulled my wastegate line and was running 22psi at 3k and it would drop down to 15psi at 6.5k. I did 8 runs that night and they were all over the place...
spooled240 wrote:12.6 @113! hell yeah thats' fast! did you have slicks or a lsd?
No slicks. Welded stock 4.08's. Tires were 225/45/17 Bridgestone Fuzion HRi's at like 28psi.

Same here. I think something in the 3.5 for a final gear would be better for a turbo car. Also, an automatic transmission pwns for a drag car.

I love going to the track. I like seeing different things that people do to try and go fast. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it scares me..

My next plans is to turn boost up to 18psi and put a S13 248 cam on my exhaust side (im currently running 248 232). More power!!!

man you guys are making me jealous i'm dying to go to a track again and own some evo's and 350z's lol

Hey sunny, since you have those heavy works and mad camber you're probably having traction problems? Perhaps some 300zx tt rims out back w/ some slicks and regular camber would make a faster '60 eh?

Yeah, i might do that just to see whats the fastest time i can run. But heres the thing... am I going to be rolling on the street on my Works, or on z32 wheels with slicks? What if a Vette rolls up next to me one day, and im thinkin to myself, "I shoulda swapped to my slicks!". I'd rather try to maximize my street setup as much as I can. Run what you brung kinda thing... You get what I'm trying to say here?

run wut ya brung ftw heads up ..... PINKS lol, yeah I feel you on trying to max what you have. I mean are you gonna drive home to change to slicks to run someone, hell no. but if your trying to see how fast it can go, and slicks own for drag. you could drop a few more psi in the tires but 28 is low already....

yeah i know what your sayin, i love the feeling of driving straight home after haulin azz on the drag strip..no trailer, etc..maximize on what you got(more psi, etc), then get the slicks on to get that best time so you can have that kick azz time slip hanging from your rear view mirror lol
