yeah well now the tps is reading nothing. The connectors show power, and suicides tps works, so mine is dead.

anyone know where i can get a good one. this is the second bad one ive had where it is out of range when setting the idle switch.

Yay for similar predicaments! My TPS has been on holiday since I swapped the motor in. I've tried setting it but it fluctuates rapidly and wont set, been looking around for one, but haven't really had much time yet. I bet that Nissan used similar TPS units for multiple cars as well, so perhaps junkyarding might pay off?

almost all nissans of the era used a similar tps, just pull your tps off and make note of which direction the arrow on the back goes and find a tps thats the same.you can use a q45 tps but you'll have to grab the wot/idle plug too as they are diffrent from the rb's.

yeah, cant find a q in any local junkyards.

As a side note, the tps used on the vg30de, ga16i, and whatever is in the nissan quest/mercury villager does not work. it is backwards.

dont believe the parts interchange threads
