Saw tails exactly like that on a also black Z33 here in town the other day. A MARKED improvement over stock (the tails are one of my principal complaints with the styling of the car)

yes, the tail-lights is one of the very few things that don't look right on the 350z. but with them smoked like that, it looks really good.

Good job, I used the same thing…don’t mean to thread hijack

My first tinting was this…

After 3-4 months it faded to hell, because I didn’t apply the paint correctly,(too light, too many coats)

(see sig)

Since I couldn’t get the paint off, I bought new tails for pocket change…and redid them (just yesterday)

I think living the white back up light un-tinted makes it look better. 5 coats of tint and 2 coats of clear coat

Can I ask a question? I think the tinted lights look great but one thing that scares me is that there tinted and might not show up as well during daylight. Do you think tinting these lights could be more prone in rear ending?

I used smoked overlays from Performance Nissan out in Cali. Overlays can be applied to the covers dry. Just peel off the paper and apply.
