A bit of my story about when I first got my 2010 Altima :

I did some searching online and saw pictures of the Altima(apparently the 2009 model, to my mistake) with the Nismo Aero kit and fell in love. Went to dealership and asked for one. They said "Ok, we can do this." Charged me extra for the kit, which is fine. Second day, dealership told me "Sorry, we can only fit the side sills, spoiler and exhaust on your car. You wouldn't want the front spoiler lips anyways, people get that scratched at speed bumps way too often."

..............

Ok, so just give me the Nismo cat back exhausts, and a cold-air intake. Always great to have knowledgeable sales at the dealership. *claps*

Now I got that out of the way, question to most of you on here : Would you think Nissan will release an official "Nismo Kit" for 2010+ models?

To be honest, I HATE the front of the 2010+ models. Its TERRIBLE. For some reason the fog lamp area design reminds me of the Chrysler Intrepid, or some "American / GM" sedan... In an effort to rid my car of this terrible look, I asked if its possible to switch the front bumper assembly to the 2009 one(which looks way better btw). Unfortunately, that's not possible. I looked online everywhere looking for body kits that will fit my car. The only one I can find was the "GTR" kit.

Does anyone know typically how long it takes for aftermarket and original car manufacturers to come up with these upgrades? Stillen, which is one of the biggest aftermarket provider for Nissan has not released anything for the 2010+ models, and now is 2011 going on-ward to 2012! I'm feeling I'm grabbing the short end of the stick here purchasing a 2010 model if both Nissan and aftermarket companies are refusing to release any sport upgrades for my car.... :(

Any other 2010 owners feel this way?

I personally like the new facelift better. Considering the Altima isn't a popular mod car I'm almost willing to bet most aftermarket support is almost done working on our Altima for now, especially with a new model coming soon.
