Just...I don't know. I live in a farm town, so most of the females I know are huge horse people, with ranches and that sort of thing. They are just interesting people. Obviously, this is not a bad thing...they are my friends. I can't really put my finger on how...

One of my friends has a pet leopard...its freakin' cool. It's tiny, though. Some sort of pygmy thing. But it's still vicious when its hungry. SHARP teeth.

Sorry, hope you didn't take that as an insult.

Like Seinfeld says...why get out of a car with 200+ horse power to get on an animal with one?

not like that is anything new. They have things like this for all sports you can play. The first one I saw was for paintball.

Actually, psychologists will tell you that horses are transitionary phase for girls from admiring and wanting to marry their father to boys in general. The horse is big and strong and they can take care of the horse. Some girls never grow out of this stage.

BTW, vicki, that was not meant to offend you or other equestrians. It was just an answer to the question of why so many girls like horses.

I enjoy riding just as you guys like racing and driving. There's an adrenaline kick when you're trotting and and posting. Doesn't hurt that you rub against the saddle when you post. I really don't know what the fascination is... I just fell in love with it and it's a damn good work out too.

I just got back from a riding lesson. My horse was being a jerk today.... all the horses were, actually. Must be the weather.
