i think with i/h/e alone we would be just over 200hp. the tuner would just add on more to that

JDR,

Looking closer at the Dyno testing, which was conducted 04-05-2008 and 11-05-2008, and then looking looking at the Stillen website, at the STILLEN Project Vehicles > STILLEN Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, I have come to the conclusion that the dyno testing was conducted on the Spec V with only the Stillen exhaust installed.

The car does not list the Stillen header as part of it's mods.

I could be wrong, but this is how it looks to me.

I hope that me posting this does not cause anyone to call me a troll, or cause someone to tell me to go back under a bridge.

i dont think kyle would be lying to us and we all know how long it takes to update a website. i think the best thing we can take from the graph is the number difference even though headers do function better with exhuast.so the question really is did stillen stick on the stock exhuast back on for the test.

Hey Guys,

Sorry for not getting back on here sooner. I don't check the sub-sections as frequently as the main sections. Sorry bout that!

To clarify the dyno charts. The Sentra was equipped with all of its performance parts prior to the testing of the header. Then the header was installed. So the only thing being tested in that dyno is the header itself. The car had already been equipped with the exhaust and I believe intake as well but because those parts were also on for the baseline, the 8 horsepower gain is on just the header itself.

perfect so people with exhuast and intake probly saw a bigger gain cause here my thought intake gives you 5hpexhuast gives 7hpintake+plus exhuast gives you 10now here is where it gets tricky since the header is such a fundmental part of the exhuast systemexhuast+header gives 15-20hp plus the inake multiplyer gain of 15-25hp at the cranknow the numbers say theres a drivetrain loss of 17%thats 166whp to the wheels stock 184-166=18 which falls in my range.say you spent 1grand on all this stuff is comes out to about 55$ per 1hp.

lets say turbo cost about 5grand to install and tune professionally, at an 100hp gain you will be paying the about the same amount per 1hp 50$. all in all these are great mod's

The flange is coming along well. We had a car in last week for a final check fit and the bungs are being welded in right now. I should have some parts in hand very soon.
