My system, and speakers for the doors?

Well, my stepbrother gave me a set of jl audio 10's, and an apparently blown alpine v12 amp. Got a new (used) amp, and have everything set up. Pretty nice sounding system. Turns out that all of my stock clarion speakers were blown. Oh well, i bought a pair of 6.5 memphis audio 2 ways, sound real good. I now need some speakers for the doors. Any way to get deeper speakers in the doors? I havent pulled them apart yet, so i cant see what's in there really. Btw, 96 base model. Crutchfield shows 3 models of 6.75's that will fit, that's all. I'd like to go with some better memphis's up there, if i can make them fit decently. Also, where are the stock tweeter locations? I dont see any anywhere, so i'm assuming that i dont have them (duh) but i'm curious where they mount. I'll try to upload a couple pictures of the system (still need to cut one box down)...or not...ah well, 2 jl audio 10's, sony xplod 280 watt (i think) amp, 2 memphis 6.5's...nothing amazing...everything's velcro'd in (couldnt mount the speakers, no room to drill back there, and i was too lazy to mount the amp better, velcro to the carpet works well though)asty

About the doors you have one of two options. The yellow cassings that hold that speakers in place have a lip in the back that restricts mounting depth. You can cut the lip off. But if you really wanted to get creative you could take out the grill in the door panel and rig a 6X9 in there. I would be really impressed to see that

ive seen it done...my buddy did heis that way...doesnt look bad, but im all about keeping everything conceled...you cant even see my subs unless you pull up the carpet. But you sure know when i turn the sucker up!

a. you need to get the amp changed, you will kill those subs, 280 watts for possible 10W3's will not be enough, look for a new amp, and b. get a regular set of 4x6's to go in the doors, and then get an amp to power those and the 6.5 and you will have much better sound.
