Well, I decided that I would create one main thread for all of my problems, updates, mods, and replacements.

To check things up, I've been driving Zoey to work for the past two weeks, and this is what I notice. Very horrible cold starts, chuga-chuga through 1st and 2nd, then on the highway going 60mph in 5th heavy shaking through steering column and tak-tak-tak coming from front left.

Other than the above aforementioned, I have new fuel injector connector plugs coming in by the 8th, and hopefully they take care of my chuga-chuga problem. How can I fix the cold start issue?

Whats wrong with cold start. What oil are you using. What temperature are you starting it at? Does it crank forever? Do you let it warm up for a bit before driving?

Get your tires balanced, if you can get them road-forced (better way of lining up rim and tire for better balance), check for balljoint and tie rod play.

Taktaktak sounds like baseball card in bike wheel or what? Hard or soft noise?

Wants to idle out and die. GTX 10w30. Dead F'ing cold, the temp needle is below Cold. Starts right up, but wants to idle out and die. It takes 10mins to warm up to op. temp.

Taktaktak sounds more like someone hitting soft metal with a rubber mallet. It comes and goes, I think depending on if Im driving straight, or taking a hard corner (the noise is gone in corners).

I've had the damn car aligned once already, I think the tires are too damn wore out to do any good, gah looks like tires are next after my fuel injectors. Also, my shifter "wobbles like a big black d***" to qoute a friend, how do I get it to not wobble? new bushings?

Fuel injector connectors came in two days ago, got Zoey to the shop lastnight so hopefully I get her back by tonight. So we'll see what happens next.

check for a vacuum leak. i spent weeks trying to figure out my cars's problem after i did a plenum pull, turned out it was the plenum gasket. check your vacuum lines and such, if those check clear, then i;d start looking at your gaskets. but first, have you checked your fuel filter and spark plugs?

Well, got Zoey back from the shop, and I must say that once she reaches op. temp., she feels like a beast again when I'm driving her. But now I notice the misfire a lot more easily than before with the new fuel inj. connectors. I'm going to see how she handles on the way to work in the morning, then go from there. Just another recap, I have new spark plugs, and o2 sensors, and now new fuel inj. connectors. I also figured out what the tak-tak-tak was, it's my drivers window, if I have it up all the way it makes that noise, which Im guessing is vibration, if I bring it down a SMIDGE, no noise, no leaks. Cool beans lol.
