Post

So I've had my vert for a while now and I figured it was time I shared my little story.

I got started with a nice reliable 96 Acura Integra ls 5 speed, actually found a unmolested unmodded former company car, and I loved it,looked good, great gas milage, and could take the "first car beating". After a year or so I was looking for more power and lusting after a RWD car, thankfully my best friend at the time got me into Nissans, one ride in his s13 sr20 hatch and I was hooked.

About a year later, I was driving my integra downtown and got sideswiped by a minivan going about 50mph My faithful teg held up well but she was totaled, after a summer of no car I went off to college, finally the summer after my freshman year I picked up my new baby. A 93 convertible s13 with a 98 sr20det type x blacktop swapped in. Though I wish i could say I had the pleasure of swapping it myself (too costly for the upgrades this one had already) I picked it up from a 25 year old man who babied the hell out of it, rarely drove it and needed a more practical car for children. Absolutely love my car to death. Its upgrades include 5 speed conversion, sr20det blacktop(s13 type x),shocks/springs,brand new G force tires, New HPS hawk brake pads and Greenstuff pads,s14 t28 w hks actuator, boost, temp, and oil pressure gauges, s14 kouki seats (front and back), short shifter w nismo "butt plug" shift knob among with a few other goodies I'm surely forgetting. Despite having to normal "problems" here and there this car is a joy to drive and I love wrenching on it.

Thanks and the funny thing is I was gonna sell the teg for a 240sx, and after a half a year with the 240sx my plans are eventually 555cc injectors and a tune maxing out the t28,one piece DS,new speakers all around and spacers. But well see as it sits its perfect for my situation atm. After I graduate Ill prob kick it up a notch and start building it hardcore after I get a daily.

Congrat on UPgrade!Man, you have some goodies on your car. Nava steering wheel, s14 seats, CDRL, JDM turn signals, nice wheels and of course black top sr. I don't know why, but I like those wheels a lot. They make your car look very classy.

Thank you guys, and they were squeezed in snuggly and tied into the chassis, no bolts, but honestly its so snuggly in there and tied into the chassis I've had zero problems with it.

Back seats work? Would you mind doing a write-up on how you got them to fit? I would really love to replace my crappy back seats for an S14 seat.

Thought I can not take credit for doing it, the previous owner told me how its in there and I've looked at it, really its as simple as getting the backseat cushioning and squeezing it into the back w some ties to hold it to the chasis
