just did my auto to 5spd swap.. yes i remmeber to changed the polit bearings. heh

everything was driving fine up intll last night.

i have this nasty grind rattle sound i guess i can call it.. it does the sound no matter what... clutch does not have to pressed in..

my buddy said this....Noise While Pedal Is In= Throw Out Bearing????

but i can't see how its my throw-out bearing becasue i pushed the clutch pedal in and i still have the sound, and when clutch pedal comes out, the sound is still there. and if i sit in my car at idle in netural and rev to 1,500 and hold it there.. the sound will stop but will come back if i rev to like 2 or 3k.

could that be flywheel problem?

everything was fine with my swap.. i put 200 miles on it and then last night i was like ugh 200 miles i enough so i went and step on my gas pedal to race it down the highway and then right after that when i got off the highway.. the noise started.

a bolt could have gotten loose as well. So you're positive it's comin from the bellhousing area? If so, you're gonna be screwed anyway and the transmission's gonna have to come down for you to resolve this.

I am in the middle of doing this swap, my question is, how I avoid the same from happening...and I am afraid of the answer being "tighten the crap out of em"...is there a loctite type product or anything of the sort?

get a torque wrench.. my first was i thought it wouldn't matter as long as i made them really tight by just a ractect.. but i was wrong.

so get a torque wrench and torque them down to spec and stick a pry-bar thought the flywheel teeth so it doesnt' spin while tighteing

well you can use loctite blue. It's rated at 50 ft-lbs which is less than the normal torque spec on those bolts, just it'll make it take some effort to undo and such. Ideal for your situation. You can also put a 27mm socket/breaker bar on your crank pulley to keep it from spinning as you torque down the flywheel bolts.
