Well guys, after months of being RB-less I finally forked out the money to put the RB into my S14. For you guys that don't know, I was having some major issues with my RB20 in my S13. Basically the shop that swapped it in really jacked up the wiring, among other things. So I finally pulled it out around June, and decided to swap her over into my S14. Here is the current progress and I'll keep you guys posted as we try to wrap up the swap. Working on it along with my job schedule really sucks...

It's an SSautocrap...yeah I know everyone can't stand them. But I've actually not a had a problem with mine so I kept it on there.

Thanks man I appreciate it! And thanks for all the help too! Yeah the mixture of coolant/oil/power steering fluid is always nice to work with. But regarding the valve covers, I just wet sanded the original powercoat I had, and painted the valve covers and cam gear cover with some graphite paint. Turned out quite nicely.

We finished the intercooler piping today. Pretty much finished the exhaust (fabbing a turbo elbow/wastegate dump) tonight. Should be out there tomorrow to get the wiring re-connected, and make sure all harnesses are plugged in and ready to go. I have to work Tuesday afternoon/late so I should be out there Wednesday morning to finish up the last bits (fuel pump, filter, change the oil etc...). Hopefully she'll be running by that night! Here is the lastest pic, but the turbo elbow was taken off in that pic.

LOL...thanks man. I'll definitely be up to Charlotte once it's up and running strong. I'm getting ready to head out now and try to finish some of the tedious little jobs, and Wednesday we should be able to finish everything else and get her running.

Alright guys...quick update. Got the car running, having some idling issues, but other than that it seems to run just fine. We drove it down the road for a bit with no problems, but we're trying to sort out a couple little bugs before we start tuning. Here are the pics of the final setup. And yeah I plan on cleaning up the engine bay later on.

Yeah I may have some pics of the intercooler piping, I'll try to hunt them up. Unfortunately I won't be in Charlotte this weekend, but should be up there two weekends after that...if not sooner.

Damn skippy son, that sure is a clean *** chasis, minus the road dirt on the engine bay. Good setup.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. I have Wednesday off this week and plan to clean the engine bay, and the whole car for that matter, up a bit. There is a bit of wiring that I want to tuck out of the way as well, but it looks loads better than my S13.

LOL...yeah, it was pretty haggard. And even that is an understatement.
