my suspension and bumps 91 240sx

so I just replaced my suspension with tokico HP non adjustable with sportline springs and its really stiff. reallllly stiff. when I hit a bump it feels like my back tire wants to leave the ground and it makes me almost go sideways and lose traction. anybody know if maybe there blown or anything?

Well its going to feel a lot more stiff if you're switching from stock springs and struts. They should wear in a bit over the next few days and will feel a little different, but dont expect a profound change. They aren't blown - blown struts will cause the car to feel much more 'loose' and the suspension will move and bob more. What are the specs on your suspension? How stiff is it?

no idea on the specs. I had kyb gr2's and they felt a hell of a lot better these bob and move, the suspension is way stiffer I have had them on since saturday and they still feel about the same

ive got the same issue after installing coilovers on my 93(NEX FTL) ride is so stiff my a** comes off the seat on some bigger bumps....it may be just the type of springs u bought.....im thinking of changing to tein or something with a better name

yeah its making me almost hydroplane in the rain just from hitting a small bump it throws the car and it feels like my back right wheel leaves the ground. I lose traction really bad.
