Instead of using spacers why not buy a wheel with proper offsets from the start?

Razi,

That is not fair. Not ALL wheel we like come in the sizes and offsets we want...

Love your Coupe though! Excellent Color!

Haha thank you.

Spacers aren't bad but if you're buying new wheels you can get good offsets and use some thin spacers for adjustment.I guess XXR doesn't offer a wide variety of offsets. I thought they did, so I guess spacers are your only choice.

Here is are some XXR 962s in 17x9 +35

But, you can buy some Rota P45r's in 17x9 +25 or even 17x9.5 +12 and they look nice. The ones below are P45r's, 18x9.5 +15

I would buy some proper fitting wheels but being 17 and having a job that pays 7.60/h doesn't really give me the option to buy "baller" wheels. I could buy some gunmetal MB battles but I can never find them (they were my first option anyways)..

How is the quality on the isis short throw? I have been thinking about buying one. Is it smooth or should I go with a B&M or something a little more expensive?

Have you tried Discount tire, I bought a set of them a few months back. They had gunmetal in stock but bronze was on back order. 17x9.5 +15

I have 2 they are pretty easy to get. They are cheap. I traded a set of rims for an entire 240 with rims.

I thought they were discontinued but I'll look into those..

I don't really have that many stories... I would buy one and find another one that was cleaner and I would just sell them and make a few bucks.. Now I think i've found the cleanest one i'm ever going to find unless Broadfield throws his up for sale for like 3k...

I like it a lot. I've never used a B&M though. Mine rattled for a while but has seemed to have stopped..

Thanks for the response. I have heard that they all rattle a little bit. So no worries there. I just know they are like half the price of the others. And they looked about the same. I have been debating on just going ahead and getting the ISIS short throw and the piping kit as well since I have to buy both of those for my swap still. I will love it when I am done but hate tossing money at it now lol.

Oh and good response to the age question. At your age I would have gotten huffy puffy. So I thought that was very mature.

Haha! Thanks man! I'm here to learn and I know about wheel sizing and proper offset and a lot more than the other 17y/o import guys around my area. I've been reading stickies and builds since I was 15 and I know how to use the search button... I like to hear some feed back about my car too. I know it's my car but someone just might give me an idea that would make my car look even better. I just don't have money right now and I won't let mommy and daddy foot the bill..
