I bought my Versa back in Dec. 06 and have taken it thru an automatic car wash 2 times since then. (normally I hand wash it) BOTH times my sunroof has leaked when the high pressure water jets passed over it. Although it only leaks at the rear of it, not on the sides or the front. It leaked what I would say was about a cup or so of water - I had to sop it up with towles.I dont know if this is just because of the high pressure water or if I have a problem I need to go to the dealer for....

Anyone got any ideas?????

Thanks!!

First thing that comes to mind is whether or not this is a factory sunroof.

Does your car have iKey, Bluetooth, and Satellite radio?

Well, providing the roof is completely closed when this happens, the dealer would be the next stop. sounds like a bad seal.

You might try just using the hose at home and see if it leaks when wetting it down because the high pressure might be more then a normal rain storm would be.

Using just a normal garden hose to wash my car does not make it leak - nor does rain - just the automatic car wash......

But seriously, by not using the car washes, you're missing anything. You'll do a much better job of cleaning by hand. Most car washes use dirty brushes and rollers that are rarely changed out or even inspected. Car washes at the gas station are the worst. Most car washes use harsh detergents to make sure your car is squeaky clean, especially the touchless washes. As far as the seal, I'd still have the dealer look into it. You may have a small problem now that may turn into a big problem later.
