Here are some of my pics. I took over 1000 so its tough to narrow them down. In any case, here goes. I left from chicago to damascus on Alitalia. As a result, i had a 15 hour lay over in Rome. So, i called up a friend, and I did a quick tour of Rome, lunch, dinner, then back to the airport via train. It was insane...Just wanted to post this shot. thought it was amazing. I took it with my dSLR. Its the grille ornament from mom's escalade...

oddly enough, the Rome metro is ontime. its amazing. the guys are swiss guards. they protect the vatican and vatican city. Its kinda cool to walk across the street and in doing so, exit a soverign nation and enter another one.

Ahhh, Rome! Glad you had a good time...it can be a crazy busy city! So are they letting people take pics of the cathedral now? When I went, I had to hide my camera and take a pic without flash

I have a Nikon D40. Its not the greatest dSLR, but it takes damn good pics for being just 6mp.I think i just was shooting with the stock 18-55mm Zoom lens. Some of the detail shots are with the 50mm lens.
