I like the color, the car will eventually be a nice dark green. It is just the dash as a whole but we will see. Green for the money, gold for the hunnies. I was planning on doing the intercooler piping gold but with alll the blue going on it might look really bad.

It is in and it isn't to bad, i get the tacky bit but for me trying out the new design i figured i would try out a different color. It is going to stay in there until i get tired of it. I will post pics later when i get home and take them.

Well i got the oil cooler set up and the dash in. The only thing left to do is cut the holes for the intercooler pipes and build the outlet pipe for the turbo. Here are some pics. I am in the bahamas for a few days so no work will be done.

He said above that he was filling the mounts with polly. So I'd guess he's using the stock mounts and filling them in with either window weld or polly adhesive.

I just did this, by the way, and I have to say I get a lot more vibration than I expected from it.

Yeah i allready know i am going to regret it. The motor might as well be bloted to the frame. I have to take off one of the engine mounts and brackets and reinstall them with the engine in to get the transmission crossmemeber bolts to line up. With the engine mounts in place there was no side to side movement in the trans. It was a pain in the butt. We will see

Yeah you should be able to get the engine mounts in place with the transmission crossmember on and just loose. That's what I did anyway. I'm wondering if this stuff will break in at all, since it's polyurethane, or if this is how it's going to stay. On my car it's only really annoying when it's around 800 - 1500 rpm. But it idles around 1000 anytime the ac is on so that does get old.

what is off is the way the gauges are in there. They point straight out and they are not perfect to lookat, version tow will have them at an angle towards the driver. Somehting i can live iwht for now until i redo it.
