my stock turbo is shot... 56k not so much!

today i bolted up the new turbo!







the intercooler is done minus the hot pipe...



i put my front bumper and lights back on.... i know i know the intercooler is to BIG!

why dont u cut the rad support some so u can fit the intercooler up higher. it looks like u'll scrape the hell out of it sitting that low.

Looks good but why would you get something that big?? Plus I love the black IC look.

i agree with the other guy. Trim the bumper support to tuck in the intercooler. This advertises to the world and thiefs that u have a turboed whip! take it from the guy whose car got broken into 4 times!

lol there is no bumper support.... ther are only 4 bolts holding the bumper on. i am going to try to see if i can mount the intercooler higher on tuesday when i get some time off. really all i need to worry about is the head light still fitting, so i am going to leave them on and find a different way to mount it...

no its a hks gt2510. i paid $1000 shipped!

a Precision Turbo SC61 T3/T4 cost $300 less than that and can put out over 600hp. sometimes you guys killing me with these type choices made.

have you read anything i already posted???? yeah i cost 300 less then my turbo but i also would need injecter, down pipe, maybe a manifold, e manage or power fc to tune it, so can you tell me how that would have been cost effective. i would have spent way more money when all is said and done, and down time would have been twice as long..

this isnt my dream setup its what i could afford right now... i needed car back asap, and as reliable and as cheap as possible.

once my wedding has come and gone/ get ride of more debit i will be running a holset/ or sc61. i just dont have the time or money right now...

if you dont like my setup don't talk trash about it and tell me i wasted time and money. you dont know my situation!

i think what he (and I) are concerned with is what piping kit it is. we know its ebay, but there are a few different ones. i've resorted in to picking up an xs-power one for my 33. i was concerned with how well the pipes fit but it looks like it all fit just fine.

the piping came with the intercooler from ebay.... i had to extend the pipes on the passenger side about 6 inches. i have to make the hot pipe for it..

a trip to auto zone and 40 min. of work will take care of it.

i bought two sections of exhaust pipe for about $15and they have a xhaust pipe cutter you can rent. it make cutting the pipe easy and it is alot cleaner.
