The box is covered in a brushed aluminum plate, to accent the G's interior...very cool!

It sounds phenomenal! I wanted the stereo to be loud, so I used the MTX 7801 super amp. The setup uses the MTX amp for the subs, and the existing factory Bose head deck/speakers/amp for the mids and highs. The sub amp uses the inputs from a high level (speaker) source, the rear midbass, which means I don’t have to add any external processors to get an RCA (low level) source. It’s all about stages…next I’ll upgrade the head deck with a touchscreen DVD unit using the double-din console replacement.
