As so many posts end with no conclusion, I will offer mine. I did post the questions on other threads but will finish here. I ended up keeping the factory Bose stereo. I took it to a local guy who repairs them for the dealers. Front and rear speaker amps and the entire head unit repaired for $320.00. Once I got the speakers home, the rears didn't sound so good so I called the guy and he said that he just repaired the amps, not the speakers and that I may need to fix them or get new ones... I found a local speaker repair place and they rebuilt mine for $23. Everything works great now.
As for the windows, I replaced the motor in the driver's door and siliconed the tracks. I also cleaned and lubed the regulators. The rear window motor that is stripped will stay stripped until I find a good use motor. Factory units are all that is available and they are over $300.
I still have some demons to chase down but I'm getting closer on this beast.
