On my 1990 Z32 2+2 NA the steering column can shift left and right. It can't move up and down at all, just left and right. Sometimes when I am driving and I try turning left it feels like the car is fighting me and wants to go straight. Usually it is fine. Usually when the steering wheel is straight the car drives straight but sometimes it veers a little to the right. I don't really know what could be causing this issue especially since usually the car drives fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!
I changed your title to better reflect your problem, and hopefully get more help.
However, I think that your problem exists with the steering column mount, or the steering knuckle both of which can be loose, or bad.
There is a sticky called "everything you need to know...Z32" at the top of the page with a service manual in it you can download, and has all tests and procedures for the various repairs needed for the Z32. Check the steering section for some info as to the "what" and "where" of these items if you intend to DIY the problem, otherwise take it to a tire or repair shop for inspection and repair.
Do so soon as well, this is very dangerous obviously!
