my sr20det has no spark, HELP!!

i used a test light to do some checks.

so far i notice that i'm not getting a signal from the CAS pinouts on the ecu, and i'm not getting any signal from the coil pack(ignitor) pinouts on the ecu.

i am getting a signal at the injector pinouts though.

does anyone have any ideas on what i should do next?? my cas is brand new by the way.

Borrow someones ignitor if you've got a friend with an sr and test it to see if thats the issue.

Unless you have an oscilloscope, you won't be able to "see" the CAS signal.

did the engine ever run before?did you test the ignitor chip using a multimeter?

When no spark I would check the following things...

CAS, Coilpacks, Ignitor, ECU and one thing people forget... Wiring that leads to and from the ignitor and the little ground cable on the coilpack harness and just check all the wiring in general for things that could have gotten disconnected.

When I did my swap, I discovered that a mouse chewed through my wiring and took me forever to find out why why why I wasnt getting any spark.

where is the ignitor chip located? and where is that ifamous ground off the rail?
