Im new to all this nissan stuff but i guess it was about time i got i touch with it..
Im building a Sr20det for my ke70 but i would like to know exactly what model it is and year if pos.
the setup:
Std crank
Crower con rods
JE pistons 87mm
Norris Design super liner engine block
Modified ported head (with GT mod)
HKS head gasket
New timing chain
Rebuilt oil pump with shims
ACL amins and big end bearings
HKS cams
HKS valve springs
3.2 to 3.5 thou piston to broe clearance
+15 thou piston deck height
2.8 to 3.1 thou main bearing clearance
2.3 to 2.5 thou big end bearing clearance
8.6 to 1 compression ratio
110.5 inlet cam timing and 113.5 exhaust cam ting (full lift positions)
Jun Intake
HKS 740cc
Aeromotive BTR 1000hp
Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump
Garrett gt3071R
Greddy pullys
Greddy oilpan
Forge intercooler
Engine management system will be AEM, halltech or Apeix fc ( anyone got some up and downs on them )

It's a modified S14 or S15 blacktop. With all the work done, it doesn't really matter which gen Silvia it was pulled from.

the reason for my quistion is for when im going to order my Engine management i need to know the model and year..

Check your valve cover bolts: Stud w/ Cap nut = S14, full bolt = S15. Unless someone changed them.

The only difference between the s14 and s15 sr are the turbo's and the coil packs. Do you have a wiring harness for the motor? You can look at the coil pack harness and tell by the size of the plugs.
