my sr20 stall when i change gear...the RMP drops to "0"

i have a 90' 240sx w/ s13 blacktop sr20det swap......the car starts ok, idling ok but whenever i switch gear without stepping on the gas (from any gear to natural) , the RPM will go down to 400rmp and sometimes even drop to "0" rmp then the car will stall....

i can always restart the car without any problem .....what happened to my sr?? where should i check for this problem?? boost leak?? or anything else went bad??

please help.......can't stand restarting my car in the middle of the street.....
