My sr wont start helppp

ok i have a 1990 240sx sr20det. i bought the car and it ran and drove good. soon after it started geting cold out it started having trouble starting so i replaced a few parts such as the temp sensor, i cleaned the gas tank, and replaced spark plugs checked for fuel delivery and everthings good so i have spark fuel compresson. all the components to get it started and still nothing so i thought ide take a look at the wiring which was completel hacked. so i fixed some of the wiring and still nothing. anyone with any ideas would be greatly appreciated.......Thankss

check pin 34(orange wire) on your ecu for 12v with the key on, if the voltage is not correct you should check your kick panel fuse box, on the lower right side of the fuse box check for a blown or missing fuse then check the orange wire again for battery voltage...this wire is your starter signal wire. It advances your timing and tells your ecu to send more fuel durring cold starts...hope this helps, it did for me

it doesnt start it just craks and cranks until i give up

also i did check pin 34 the orange wire and it wasnt getting 12v so i did wire it to a switch that gave it the 12v but still nothing...

Spray some starter fluid into the intake If it fires and runs for a sec it is a fuel issue, If nothing then pull the plugs and see if they are fuel fouled.

well the injectors are getting fuel so i know its getting to the plugs so i have just started replacing the whole wiring harness so we'll see how that works out. thanks
